By forgiving, you can release yourself from the burden and sadness

I am at fault too cause I didn't made an impact in their life

Hence could be forgotten easily or left out

But somehow things have changed, but I'll try to make it go back to the way it was

Just not so soon as time heals everything

Holidays have past and the only outing I had was discussion for presentation and movie with sis

Although it was just that, I'm satisfied=)

We must be contented with what we have or given

Stepping out and getting back to uni

with a different me

It is already half of the semester gone

gotta concentrate more in class

Easter Break

Easter break is here but yet somehow I don't feel it is like a holiday

Even sis said I don't even look like I'm having a break

Friends are enjoying their time in their break

I'm stuck at home doing the assignments

How I wish I could be like them

Have fun everyday

Mum said its ok although you don't go out, you could still get your break at home

Doesn't always mean that you could only have fun when there is $$

I do feel sometime that $$ is really important

Without them, you can't go out and enjoy with friends

Others will think you just don't like to hang out

But do they really know why I don't always hang out

Is it because I don't attend their outings, that I get rejected when planning anything

I guess so and it does seem like it

No offence to anyone seriously

Maybe it is just my stupid thoughts

Thinking about all this really makes me sad

It is just one of the depressed moment in my life

Gotta get through this or I'll be down till I can't go on anymore

So f***ed up!

No wonder I dislike planning anything cause deep down I know it won't work out

Known her for 3 years and 3 months already

She's the best partner-in-crime you could have

As in during labs, we don't really commit crime ok!=p

But suddenly at the end of the class, she said she had to go home

It is only week 3, and I'm feeling exhausted already

Energy levels are just being drained so easily

Just realized that some things are meant to be kept within yourself only

There would always be a 'skeleton in my closet'

As if I reveal myself too much, most would just leave

criticize/pandang rendah on me

Maybe that's the reason why I don't open up to others easily

Sometimes I wonder,

am I an irritating or quiet aka boring person?

I think I can be both

Quiet with people whom I'm not close too

with people whom I'm afraid will just avoid me after knowing me well

'Annoying' with people whom I don't mind being me/ don't care of how they think of me

my auntie said I am a talkative person, which I don't think so especially when I'm with strangers

maybe I only talk a lot at home cause I know they'll never dump me

no matter what happens

which is why I feel so bless having them in my life!!

Why can't I just be in between them?!?!

I just want to be a normal person

with normal communication skills

Argh, just hate myself sometimes!!!!

Ok, back to pharmaco tut!

Yumni even asked me not to wished her on the bday day itself personally,

Just to let her think that we were not going to celebrate it=P

The beginning of a new semester

Classes have officially begun today

and soon the assignments and reports would follow

This would basically be my final year since I have dropped my double to single degree

Hopefully would be able to do honours next year

Just awesome seeing friends who are back from Aussie

Most looked quite different after a year there

Style and look have changed

Probably brought back some Aus lifestyle there

But it is just great and good to have them back!

The uni has also changed a bit

Hostel is coming up behind the cafeteria

More ~~free~~ parking spaces

Koh Lipe trip

Spending Chinese New Year in Koh Lipe (Maldives of Thailand)

Woke up early on the 13th aka Ben's birthday to make sushi for breakfast. Left the house around 4.30am and was shocked to see the jam on the NS expressway. One side of the road is filled with cars and the other quite empty..More people going north than south... Due to the jam, we were late and missed our speed boat. Hence we took the next slot to Koh Lipe..

We wanted to stay another night in Koh Lipe, but due to no avail, there were no more rooms available. Most resort were fully booked. Thought of going to stay in Satun, but there was nothing to do there..No beach just jetty only..Blah, on the way, see got anywhere else we can go also ended up with no where to go...

Dropped by to see if we could stay there, but there isn't much thing to do there also unless you go jungle trekking but most of us brought beach attire..so in the end just balik rumah only! haha

Xia Xun's 20th Birthday!=)

We were supposed to have our dinner at Pyramid but looking at the jam, Leonard and XX decided to go to Bangsar Village instead. Dinner was a Chiawan opposite the complex. The nasi lemak was tasty and XX's dhall curry was superb that he asked for more not knowing that they actually charged the extra bowl of dhall..Haha they used to just give it for free but I guess a lot of people love it and want some more, hence they decided to charge for each extra bowl. Picked up Janice and Yi Wen before heading to Starbucks to celebrate XX's birthday.

The night out with them was great since I haven't been seeing them for a long time except Yi Wen due to my internship. Nice to catch up with Xia Xun since he studies in AUS. Mel's back, but Janice and Sarah are going over instead... Everyone seems to be asking me why I'm not going. First, its expensive (my course itself per sem is already 16k, don't want to further burden my parents), Two, I'll miss my family and home and last but not least, my friends!!=) Mum actually asked me before whether I want to go and check out the details, but I seriously don't want to burden her anymore..My course is the most expensive among my siblings and could be getting a lower pay when I graduate. So I really don't want to waste so much $$. Although I envy those who get to go there, I wished them to have a safe journey and take care of yourself out there alright! God Bless=)

Dad's 51st Bday

Dad's Birthday!!

The siblings as in the four us got a phone for dad while mum would buy dinner. Actually Dad had no intention of changing his old phone as it was still usable but sis kind of dislike it saying it is very old..So Dad just joked out (I supposed), saying that he would get a new one if he had the $$. So Big Sis chipped in Rm 300 while the rest of us shared Rm 200. Since the youngest 3 is not working and hence no income they have no choice but to chip in less..Lolz. How I wish I could start working and earning $$. Jealous of sis cause she can just buy things easily, don't have to think and consider a lot before paying. I'm diff instead. Have to consider the pros and cons before buying anything and see whtr is it worth buying it..See the diff between having an income and not having one!!

Sis and I checked out Nokia X3 at Carrefour on Sat and they were offering Rm 550 for an AP set. Mum suddenly decides to go Petaling Street on Sun after church to buy curtains. Since we were already in KL, dropped by Low Yat to check the phone out. Honestly speaking, this was the 1st time I have ever been to Low Yat...I am a so-not KL person right..haha=D Beside buying the phone (zitron set), we also bought a printer, cooling pad, keyboard from there..Wow first time spending so much $$ in one day in KL! Dinner was at Kuchai Lama where we ate something simple before eating something big on the 1st Feb itself..hehe=)

Dad's birthday celebration was at Damansara Village. It was a famous restaurant as the seafood there was fresh. Dad found out this place though a blog. There were really many people there and they also have animals for display ( rabbits, bird, monitor lizard). Food was great and we had their famous soup for steamboat (some sort drunken soup). Got shocked when Dad accidentally dropped the prawns into the pot. This was because the prawn itself was still alive and I guess struggling to get out from the grasp of chopsticks. Haha=) Terkejut man!! They also have turtles but didn't see anyone eating them. It was a great night!

New Year in Langkawi!

Sorry for the late update..Hehe I know it has been a long time since the trip was over but I didn't had the time to update my blog. So here it goes!

Met up with the rest of the gang (Yong Mei, Yi Wen, Sarah, Li Xing, Zahir, Eugene, Jeffrey and Joey) at the Subang Jaya KTM station before we depart to Kota Raya bus station. Stopped by at McD while waiting for the bus. Some had their dinner while others played cards. We left the station almost around 11.30pm and the bus was quite empty. It was a midnight bus. Due to the new year celebration, the KL roads were all jammed up. Hence we managed to watch fireworks in the heart of KL from the bus. Couldn't really sleep as it was quite cold. The journey was roughly around 6 hours.

We reached the jetty around 7am in the morning and went for breakfast nearby before the 8am boat arrived. Slept most of the time in the boat cause was really tired the day before. Once we got off the boat, we went to retrieved our cars and waited for Fang to arrive. He flew in as his mum wouldn't allow him to take midnight buses..hehe=) Since the owner said that there can't be 6 ppl in 1 car, we decided to get another car. This one instead auto. The manual cars were really old as the speedometer wasn't working, no radio and the car boot was also spoiled. Headed off to Kuah town for 'brunch' and then to the famous Langkawi Cable Car. To our unpleasant surprise, they were having their maintenance and it was on the NEW YEAR DAY itself...Argh..drove all the way there but didn't manage to go up!! But we still had fun around the Oriental Village=) Right, Fangky mou??haha =D

We headed to our hotel (ASEANIA HOTEL) around 2pm. The hotel was awesome but the services were really terrible!!! Yong Mei had booked the hotel in November and the person that she talked to said that if we booked earlier, they could try getting connecting rooms for us. Much to our dismay, our rooms were not connected at all and she only booked them for us a few days ago..So they decided to give some discount to our room since she did not get connecting rooms for us. And they will move us to the connecting room the next day at 3pm. Fine then!! Went to the swimming pool while waiting for Vien Na to arrive.

After taking our shower, we headed for a Chinese Restaurant which Joey introduced us to. There were many people there as Chinese tourists goes there as well. The food was great and delicious! Walked around Pantai Cenang after dinner. The sands were smooth and cooling..Felt so nice when you touched it with your bare legs. Around 10pm ++, the guys started to look for booz aka liquor. Most of the liquor shops have already closed since it was getting late already. Asked around whether are there any liquor shops that might still be open, and they recommended one to us near the Chinese Restaurant where our dinner was. It was also closed when we got there as they close their shop at 10.30pm and it was almost 11pm already. When we were about to leave, we saw someone opening up the shop and we quickly got out of the car and into the shop we go. We were lucky cause the owner was just about to leave and lock up the shop. At least we got our booz and they got their business. =D Played Indian Poker till 2am before heading off to bed.

The next morning after breakfast, we headed for our island tour. The ride on the speedboat was awesome. Visited the Island of the Pregnant maiden first, and then to eagle watching and finally to an island where we could play by the beach. The monkeys at the Pregnant maiden island were really naughty. They would snatch your plastic bags and food/water from you. Saw some of them drinking water from the bottle while some stole Pringles.

Once we got back from the tour, headed to our hotel to cleaned ourselves and changed room too. The process of getting the connecting room were really rubbish as they didn't want to give us the key saying its not clean yet (saying that they only have very few cleaners so no time) and hence you can't checked in yet.. Thus we called the room cleaner and they said it was already cleaned earlier on..WTH!!!So this time round, the guys went down to get our keys and they just gave it to us without much argument..Probably they dislike the girls as we have already complained since day 1..But it was totally their fault!!!=p so you can't blame us man...In the end, since the guys were upset of how they treated us, they went to look for the complaint department and wanted to see the manager. Since he/she wasn't in, the staff there gave us few pieces of paper and an envelope. So we wrote down everything that we were not satisfied of. Seriously man, such nice + beautiful hotel but poor service. Maybe the receptionist have not undergone training before!

After all those unhappy moments, we decided to head off to Underwater World. There were many nice animals and fishes there. Spent roughly an hour there before we drove to Kuah for dinner and shopping. Shopping is something one must not miss when they come to Langkawi as it is all duty free. Bought some chocolates for Jasmine and Martini for the family. Gosh, felt my bag was so heavy once I stuffed them into my bag. Didn't manage to get any chocolates for myself cause my bag was already full and heavy..Wish I could go there again to buy them though..haha=D Played another game this time round before we go to bed. Had to finish the JD + bottle as we did not want to bring them home. A few guys were already 'kong' out before the game even started as they were too tired..Played till 2am++ before going to bed. Since the guys slept on our bed earlier on, we decided to wake them up so that they could move back to their bed. Once they got up, they were not tired anymore and got all hyped up. Hence the war of shouting began between the 2 rooms. This is what happen when we have connecting rooms. Haha =D It was hilarious although we were making so much noise. Hope our neighbours wouldn't mind us as it was our last night together=p

We left Langkawi around 9am in the morning and reached back to KL at 7pm. Some of us went our own way while the rest headed to Parade for dinner at Nandos. Most of us were hungry since our lunch wasn't even a proper one. Altogether it was a great escapade with friends and celebrating New Year there!

Christmas 2009

Spending Christmas in Thailand with 4 other families

Last year, we spent Christmas in Hatyai and Koh Samui with Uncle Danny and Uncle Ks's family. This year round, more people joined us. Guess it was just too fun last year that they also wanted in..haha..The new comers were Uncle Sam and Uncle Ke Min's family. We left around 7am in the morning and plan to meet up with Uncle D, S and KM at Gopeng for breakfast. Uncle Ks didn't joined us as they were already in Thailand since a few days ago. Since Genting was very misty, uncle KM did not manage to have their breakfast with us. Hence the 4 cars met up near Bukit Kayu Hitam to do their car insurance + exchange $$.

Uncle KM's family was new to us as we have never met them before (except my dad lah of course). Uncle Sam's family went to Chiangmai 3 years ago with us. After settling the departure and arrival cards, we head off to the Duty Free centre. Bought few bottles of red wine and 3 boxes of Vella as well.. It was for the whole gang alright, not only for us.=P

After getting all the stuffs that we need, we headed for the border and straight to the chicken rice shop while on the way to Hatyai. Never failed to eat lunch there every time when we go to Thailand. That shop was famous as the King/Prime Minister even visits that shop. Thus it had to be good ain't it..lolz=) After meeting up with uncle Ks's family at the hotel, we headed off for dinner. The restaurant was packed that we had to sit in 2 separate tables (not next to each other). The daddies and mummies in 1 table while the youngsters in another table.. Situation in the youngster table was quite awkward as we don't really know each other well and have not been seeing each other for quite a long time..There was more of silent moment than laughter and giggles compared to the other table..We are just simply too shy..haha =D

After dinner, we headed back to the hotel to prepare ourselves for Kiss Channel. We celebrated our Christmas eve there same as the previous year. Had wine again..Drinks too expensive that we have to bring ours in..lol=D Thought of going to church but the masses there are all in Thai..so no point going cause I will not get what they are talking at all. This year was better than last year cause we manage to hear English songs that we know how to sing. Maybe cause we went back too early last year..This year we left around 2am. After leaving the place, Ben said he needed to do his task which was 'taking a pic with a trans'. Hence dad drove to the train station cause that's where they always meet up at night..We saw one waving at us across the road, and we just told dad 'let's just go'..So eerie man..Goosebumps!

We Wish U a Merry Christmas!!

The next morning, woke up early for shower and packed our stuffs as we were leaving for Koh Samui. Had breakfast (roti canai) nearby before we left. It was a 4 hours drive to the jetty. Stopped by at Nakhon Sri Tammarat Tesco for lunch before heading to the jetty. Bought a dozen of Chang beer,few bottles of spy and bacardi and a beach ball. Since we couldn't book the ferry ticket as we need to have a Thai bank acc which was impossible, we waited for an 1/2 hour before getting on to the ferry. Actually it was suppose to be 1 hour but since the ferry at 2pm had some space, we went in. Three of the cars went in first. Then came the buses and lorries.. Then Uncle Danny's car came in which then left Uncle Sam's car waiting on the land. He was quite worried cause he was the only one left there. Fortunately the guard allowed him in cause there was just enough space for his car to fit in (due to uncle D and Ks car was parked bumper-to- bumper) Lucky him!

The youngster's played UNO to passed their time while the dads played Cho Tai Ti. It was a 1.5 hour ride to Koh Samui. Once we reached there, we headed to our hotel in Chaweng Beach. Dad called the hotel to confirm our booking but the person in charge told us that they have already let our rooms out to others. Argh..how to find 9 rooms in one hotel during this peak season lah... So we decided to just looked around for hotel that are not near to the beach itself. Most of them do not have 9 empty rooms or they are just too expensive per room (rm 500++). Dad and Km found one which was quite deserted but still looked ok. It was just a plan to stay there for a night before looking for other hotel the next day as it was getting late already... and It's better than having no where to sleep at all..

On the next day, we checked out and headed for another beach. It was less packed compared to Chaweng as the night life in Chaweng is more lively compared to this beach. After checking in, we left for island hopping around the Marine International Park.

It was time to leave Koh Samui the next morning..Time really flies.. We headed for the jetty once we checked out. Unexpectedly there were many cars already queuing for the 2pm ferry. Hence only 3 cars made it for the 2pm while the rest took the 3pm slot. Uncle Sam had left earlier with Km to find out whether the other ferry company would have an earlier empty slot but due to no avail, it was even more packed..By the time they got back to meet up with us, the 2pm slot was already full. Although he took the 3pm slot, he still had Km's family to keep him company=) Nice one! He must have thought that if he left earlier, he would made it earlier but sadly luck doesn't seem to be on his side..=(

By the time we got back to Hatyai it was already 8pm. Dinner was just at the stalls near the shopping complex..All had dinner separately though..After dinner, Dad said there was a round 2 for Kiss Channel..It was quite unexpected cause we usually go once only, but since he has got friends that have just arrived and are going there, we just tag along..haha=D However this time round, only 2 families went (mine and uncle Danny's). The rest were either shopping or their kids got sick. Probably not use to taking Thai food.=( It was still fun although there were less people cause we played some game with uncle Danny's kids where the loser had to drink. Since Natalie was too small, she drank Sprite while the rest had red wine. She just loves drinking although she didn't lose...lolz..

The official beginning of 2 months of Internship =)

Sat the bus to Pathlab on the first day. I was kind of worried that I would be late and indeed I was since the clock there is 15mins faster..First 2 weeks is in the Biochemistry Department, then EIA, Haematology, and Microbiology/Serology.. There is no remuneration for this industrial training as they are only facilitating our training and we have to work on Sat as well..Argh..This means I only can wake up late on Sun=( Maybe they aren't paying us like what other business attachment would do cause we cant really do much there as most of department utilizes machines especially biochem and EIA (arnd 1 mil for 1 big machine k, don't play play).

The first day was quite boring as we were only reading manuals and looking at others doing work. We only learned how to arrange the tubes according to the barcode, route the tubes using the comp + sample manager, and put the tubes into the machine which test for glucose in the blood (only under supervision) on the following day. Can't really ask much from them if they are busy cause they wouldn't have time to 'layan' us or they would have to OT later on. Tues and Mon would be a busy day for them cause they have a lot of samples coming in from outstation. Some from Thailand, some from other branch and clinic. Most of the time we are just sitting down there staring at the blank wall and chit-chatting. Some even had the time to play BINGO..haha=D Hope I really do learn something during this whole internship or it would be a waste of time and $$. Today was quite boring and it is a half day work. Didn't even wear gloves today cause the only thing we did was packaging 18g of NaCl and wiping cuvettes.

AIA 2010 New Year Kick Off

O yea, results just came out yesterday. I am disappointed but kind of expected already. Felt very sleepy during the Recomb exam and was sick on the day before but I still forced myself to study..Probably its true that one should be resting their brain when their sick and not further stress it...T.T But I am glad that I didn't fail..As for Physio, I don't know what to say cause my internal marks are not that good, so kind of expected that it won't be a HD. Anyway, it's all over and thank god for giving me good marks!

Awesome Weekend Celebration

Saturday 21/11/09

First thing up in the morning was my AIA Insurance exam. I only studied it for 1 week, based just on past year Q and not even the whole textbook..The disaster came when I sat down in front of the comp going through the questions, almost more than 50% was not what I studied at all...I was thinking, I'm in deep ~~shit~~ man...I 'shooted' most of the Q with common sense and just prayed that a PASS will do for me..No hope for good marks..Once I clicked the submit button, my heart was beating superbly fast cause I was anxious and worried and cold at the same time..Then the result appeared on the screen, C was my grade..I was wondering was it a credit at first, but after reading the description it was passed only. lolx i would say its not bad for a 1 week study only and most of the time in that 1 week, I would be using the com or going out, so thank GOD for at least letting me pass!!Woot =)

Later in the evening, went out to Snowflake to celebrate Li Jun's birthday. The heavy rain did not stop me from getting there.haha I went 3 rounds looking for parking near the shop. Thought of going the 4th round but I was lucky, found just an empty parking spot for me right in front of the shop!! It was great meeting up with friends again after so long..Did some catching up and cut the birthday ~~cake~~ doughnuts there as well.. Dinner was in Asia Cafe..went looking around for screens which was showing the Liverpool match cause Yi Wen wanted to watched it..She is a big fan for Liverpool..Had some great laughter while watching the match as well. Kf and Jeff wanted Liverpool to lose, actually it's not that they dislike Liverpool or so but they just wanted YW's fav team to lose...lolx so bad of them right..hahaha =D

Christine aka big sis had just received her BIG BONUS!!! In order to celebrate this occasion, she decided to treat us for Shogun or Redbox. Dad said Redbox is better cause can eat buffet and sing at the same time (2 in 1) unlike Shogun..So Redbox it is for that splendid night! The theme for that day in RedBox Gardens was Hongkong dish instead of Japanese..The last time we were there they were serving Japanese food..There are even customers asking where is the Japanese food..lolx =P It was a superb night as we really did sang our hearts that night man!!Full of shouting to the top of our lungs with old but yet nice songs..The last time we sang such songs was when we were small in Sunway Club where they used to have karaoke rooms there..Not too sure bout now anymore as we're not a member there anymore..We even sang Auntie Helen fav songs..We used to hear it at home when she was still staying with us but that was when we were less than 10 years old..haha old sweet memories! Just realised that we actually went for karaoke session for more than 5x itself this year already as a family...This year is just so awesome!!

Outings after exam!!

Last Monday, Jasmine, Yumni, Yeen May, May Li, Jeevan and I went to sing out hearts out at RedBox pyramid. We met Hayden and his gangs as well there..Such a coincidence lol...After the karaoke session, we went to buy tickets to watch 2012..There were so many people in the cinema queuing as well. Since we couldn't get tickets for the next session, we decided to take the 5.15pm session. It was almost full as well for that slot. Not wasting our time, we went to play bowling. May Li couldn't play or she would 'flash' herself cause she was wearing a skirt that day..haha , tried to persuade her to play while we cover for her, but she said no. Too bad, should have told her earlier to wear jeans.

It was my first time playing as I always thought the ball would be super heavy, but somehow its not that bad. I even saw kids playing it..LOL so embarrassing man cause I don't know how to play as the ball always roll into the drain....T.T at least the rest have played before, unlike me..Thanks to Jeevan and Yumni for their teaching, I've learned how to bowl at last,although it's not pro but at least it did not always roll into the drain...but still, with the way I bowl, sooner or later there would be a crack on the floor..lolx..i have to admit the game was fun!! haha =D we didn't manage to finish 2 full games as we were already running late for the movie. =(

The movie was awesome as it looked quite real..=) wonder what will happen if this turns into reality..everyone will be rushing to save their lives, and if only rich people can survive, that is totally not fair cause all lives are equal...the US president was really caring to stay with his people and not leave his people to face this situation alone. That part caused all of us to give a round of applause to him in the cinema...Thumbs up for the movie.

Once the show ended, we headed for dinner at Papa John. It was a new restaurant there hence we decided to give it a try. The food was so so only, not too bad. O yea, Jeevan brought his relative Roshan as well. He tagged along for the movie and the dinner as well. It was a superbly fun day of singing/screaming and bowling and watching movie. We don't always go out once the semester starts cause we are always busy with assignments or reports. How dreadful can that be?!?! Hence we definitely should enjoy once we have our break!!=) This time round, the holiday is only 2 weeks before the start of attachment...=( Hope the attachment would be fun and can't wait for the Christmas trip and Langkawi trip!! Awesomenessssss....

Wedding Dinner in Singapore

After waiting for my two bros to finish their classes, we finally left the house for Singapore. Getting to the highway took quite a long time as the nearest route to get on to Kesas was jam. Hence we decided to use the Subang route, but it was jam as well..haih then we used the 3rd alternative route. Although it was also jam, we had no choice but to use it cause there weren't any other route left to get out. Hmm wonder where was everyone going on a Friday night?? During the journey, had some sushi made by sis and I earlier before we left the house. We made almost 2 boxes full of it and it was all gone within 30 minutes...probably it was too delicious to resist!haha =D

We finally made it to Causeway around 11.30pm..the Malaysian Immigration Center was quite empty, hence we made it out from there quite fast. However as we reached the Singapore Immigration Center, there were so many cars queuing up, and most of them were Singaporean cars!! Probably they were those who were returning to their house in Singapore after working in Malaysia during the weekdays..We reached our relative's house around 12am++ in the morning..Felt bad cause they had to wait for us to arrive before they could go to bed and the next morning itself was already their son wedding. . Had some light supper there before heading to the apartment. Gosh, I just felt like sleeping that time already and yet bro was still in the mood of watching TV...Finally he decided to go to bed!thank god man!

We woke up early the next morning and attended their holy matrimony service. The bride and groom were pretty and smart. The church was awesome too. After the ceremony, we had 'branch' before leaving for the tea ceremony session. Since we were there quite early, we decided to chill out at the nearby park. It was where we used to play when we were young and that time was also the same relative's son marriage but it was the eldest son instead. I really miss those time=) So fun and nice! We had a great chat with our relatives as the last time we saw them was a few years ago during their 1st son marriage. Great talk and laughter as well man! Uncle Albert was so hilarious that his character just don't seem to match his age..This is what you call young at heart and soul! He's still working as a pilot although he should be retiring already..Probably that's what keeping him so active. haha

We left the apartment around 6pm for Sentosa Island. Saw the casino construction going on at Sentosa and the theme park as well. Once the theme park is up and done, I will definitely go and try it out!

On the next day, we left early for Muar as grandpa's condition had begun to worsen. Quickly packed our stuffs and zoom for the border..There were many cars leaving Singapore as well..It was a Sunday morning, but I still do wonder where they are going.. Wonder when will we be going to Singapore again since they have no more sons and hence no more wedding dinner..LOL

Relatives from the North, UK, Europe
They aka Auntie Theresa, Miche,Carl and Sam finally touched down in KLIA on the evening of 21st September 09. Our family greeted them warmly and offered them a place to stay which is our own house. DUH!! They brought back a new smell to our house as well..This always happen whenever they come back and according to my auntie, she said it was due to the washing powder that they use to wash their clothes. Very strong smell but I like it! Haha, they brought back so many things from UK even lotions and bathing gel.

Thanks for the gifts from England! We love it so much..I'm jealous that the my bag which was a gift from them had been to UK and not me =(.. This time round the Celebrations chocolate from them came in plastic instead of boxes. Its easier to carry and will not occupy much space in their bag then. Great idea! Uncle Peter and his family came down that night and we had a good laughter.

The next morning, all of us went for dim sum breakfast in Kelana Jaya. I'd never been to a restaurant which serves so many variety of it for so long..Ate so many types of dim sum. Cousins ate a lot too as dim sum are expensive overbroad. After the breakfast, Dad decided to take them around KL with their 1st stop to the Batu Caves. I didn't tag along as I had work to do but sis went along.

On Saturday the 26th September, it was Miche's birthday! Had breakfast at home before heading to Subang Parade and Carrefour. Lunch was a home before heading to Pyramid to get the smoked salmon and Carl's flip flops. Miche got one for herself as well. Haha..It was just one hour in Pyramid before going back home. Dad decided to take the 3 youngsters for a back massage before heading for dinner in Port Klang to celebrate Miche's birthday. The night ended with us letting go of the big lantern to the sky with our wishes for her. Hope God and Grandma received it.Hehe =)

The next morning, the 3 youngsters left for Redang for a 3 days 2 nights stay. Auntie Theresa decided to sleep over in Yee Poh's place for a night to catch up with her. She slept about 2am that night and Yee Poh was still wide awake for conversation. LOL

On Tues, I took Auntie for a haircut in Pyramid (her RM 5 haircut that she always wanted). The 3 teenagers came back that day and met up with us there. We went for lunch nearby 1st before going shopping. Miche's ATM card was blocked that she got so worried. Luckily it was all cleared up after making a couple of phone calls. I didn't know that they as in the youngsters were planning to buy the 'ultimate game' for us cause it was not cheap!! When I saw them purchasing it, I thought it was for their friends in UK. But somehow Auntie decided to tell me , and asked me to keep a secret bout it when we splitted up with them. I kept rejecting the gift cause it was seriously too much and all auntie said was, "don't talk anymore cause it was not her who intended to buy it". Hence I have no say to it anymore..But THANK YOU SO MUCH for the gift!!

It was our pleasure to have you guys here and the gift was actually not needed to repay our kindness in accompanying you LAH =D Haha That night, we tested the gift and went for Swensens in Parade. Ordered medium size EarthQuake, banana split and fries. Each one got to choose an ice cream flavour. Actually Sam wanted to get his own earthquake, but after seeing the size of it....., he started to think again and opt for the banana split instead. LOL

Sam having the banana split to himself!!! Not sure whether he was enjoying it cause he looked like he was ~~forced~~ to eat it =p It came when everyone was already done with the EarthQuake. It seems the kitchen had forgotten to prepare his banana split...

The next day, I and Ben accompany them to Petaling Street. We left for Central at 11.30am as we were waiting for Ben to finish his class. Dropped off at Central and since Auntie Theresa said it was nearby, we decided to take a stroll there..We walked and walked and walked and we finally made it to Pasar Seni which was near Petaling Street!! The stroll was somehow not a stroll, cause we walked from Central to Pasar Seni which was quite a distant. LOL took us almost 45 minutes and I was almost thinking that we will never make to it Petaling Street..Luckily the weather was nice to us, it didn't rain nor it was blazing hot. Dad was thinking that we were really crazy to walk from Central to Pasar Seni when we got home. They bought some souvenirs in Pasar Seni + Petaling Street and they were bargaining as those sellers will always raise the price super high..

We left for Subang Jaya at 4pm as we do not want to get caught in the KL jam and dropped by at Parade to get some stuffs. It was a tiring day, and Sushi Chef said he wanted to do sushi. But somehow, he went to sleep!!Can you imagine that?!?! what kind of chef is this man!! Haha joking oni yea...Hence we made 2 plates of sushi for dinner.Yee Poh came over that night as well and she brought satay.Yum Yum!!The house was filled with laughter and noise at the same time.=)

The next morning, Auntie Ho came back with her sister and mum to visit US! So, we went for breakfast at SS14 together. Ordered some dim sum, puffs and chee cheong fun..I was the translator for the 3 'foreigners' when it comes to ordering to dishes.LOL and sorry yea Carl I seriously had no idea that the 'lo mai kai' was mixed and not fully chicken! =(

After the breakfast, had some chit chat with them before they left for Putrajaya. I and Auntie didn't go as we decided to bake cakes and crumble. It was a success indeed! The weather was so hot and Auntie was craving for her pisang goreng and cendol that we decided to go get it 1st before doing any work further...

The next morning after they have left, the house felt so quite and empty. Sadly everything has to go back to normal again...back to the normal lifestyle and no more fun =( but it was a great holiday for them and for me as well cause I was having my mid-sem break. What will I do if I did not have this break..probably I will be superbly sad when they are here cause I will be unable to spend time with them...its been so long since I've seen them in person again and will wait for a few more years to see them again. Till then, sayonara cuzzie and auntie!!Keep in touch yea!!Shall try to Skype every weekend!

Monash Circle K Charter-Cum Installation Night

Monash Circle K is basically a community service organisation that focues mainly on underprivileged children between the ages of 6-13 years old. I actually joined this club last year with Yeen May but did not furhter attend the meetings and activities. Probably got too busy and there were no updates bout the club. Then we begin joining again this semester when we found out that Jasmine and Yumni were in it as well=) Well the night was awesome as the performances were good especially with all the singing and dancing..Nice one man!!Didn't regret attending it. The speeches given by the VIP's were unexpectedly not boring. Usually when 'big people' gives their speech, it would tend to lengthy and boring lah. He could even joke bout he and his wife being unable to do the dance performed by the Monash Dance Club as they might break their bones..Haha=) That night, we were installed officially as the members of Circle K. Met Li Jun there as well representing Circle K from Metropolitan. The evening ended with Luke Ong's performance which was superb=) No wonder he won the talent night competition. Glad he could wait till 10++ for his performance as some of the performers left earlier already without collecting their certificate.

Lake Toba trip

Lake Toba Trip
We departed Malaysia for Polonia Airport in Medan on Saturday evening. Ben got hungry while waiting for the plane since it was delayed.

After we touched down in the airport, we were greeted by our driver which took us to our hotel Danau Toba International. The hotel had a sensor where we have to pass through at the entrance of the hotel due to guests who might attempt to bring bomb in and try to bomb the hotel. We had our dinner at Restaurant Jumbo where we met up with my dad's friend Bapak Eriksson and his family. The dinner was great and yummy as we had 3 plates of deer, shark fin's soup, and their famous local fish, King Fish. It is unique dish as the scales could be eaten and it is said to bring good health. Thanks Bapak Eriksson for the splendid dinner.

The hotel had a nice swimming pool. We left for Lake Toba after breakfast. It was a long journey with car there. Almost 6 hours spent on the road.

Missed those times when we were small in Bali playing in the pool and having a drink by the pool bar. That was like more than 10 years ago. And we used to play with the trolley and escalator while waiting for the plane as it was always delayed back then..=) Whee.. How I wished I could go back to those times and play those water slides..LOLZ

After we arrived at Parapat, a town next to the lake, we went to checked in in our hotel which was booked by Bapak Eriksson earlier on. However the receptionist said that there wasn't any booking made by him or my dad at all. Hence we decided to move to another hotel called Inna Parapat next to the lake itself.

Was worried that the swan would toppled over as the wind was quite strong..Dont wanna get wet as I wasn't wearing a swimsuit.

Didn't slept well that night at all as there were mosquitoes flying and biting me..That's what happen when there is no air cond. Can't hide inside the blanket too as it would be hot after a while. Hence we woke up and chat while waiting for the chance to kill it. But to no avail, we just couldn't stay up. First Ben covered himself with up with the blanket and jacket till you couldn't see his head anymore. The weather was cold and there is only hot water from 6-9am/pm. Hence we waited till 6am for the hot water to come. In the end, we decided to shower with cold water only as it was almost 7am already and we were leaving for Pulau Samosir at 8am. I was the last to bathe, and after I shower, sis said there is hot water already..zzzzzzz...very sharp timing huh

We wanted to go along with the car but the queue was too long and we couldn't take the 1st slot. The next slot was 3 hours later. The government was sending bantuan to the villagers in that island. Hence we decided we shouldn't waste our time and we went over 1st instead. Did some shopping around while waiting for the driver/car to come. Tomok is just a small town there. We did a lot of bargaining there. I wanted to buy a T-shirt for Ben, so hence I bargained till half price..But DAD, the pro, said he will only buy 60,000RP for 2 piece which is like 1/4 of the price which she offered me. I was like WHAT, like that how is she going to untung..In the end she gave in and dad gave her extra 10,000RP..LOLZ =D Once the car arrived, we headed for Tuk-tuk where our shalley is located. It was nearby to the hotel but we took 2 hours to get there as we missed the turn to Tuk-tuk without realising it and went even further. It almost seemed like we had toured half of the island already before realising that, we had past the place....

Too bad its not Caroline Hotel XD..Haha Nice place to live in at Pulau Samosir. Its cheap (only less than rm50 per night) considering the view and a really traditional place as the rooms were made of wood as well which lets air circulation to occur. Hence there was no need for air cond as its already cold due to the wind.

Syaheenaz's 18th birthday celebration=)

After class last Friday, Yumni and I went to pyramid to shop for Syaz's birthday gift. Thought of getting her a bag. We went for lunch in Jusco, actually only I ate cause she is 'puasa'ing but she bought fried rice for dinner later on. Looked around for any nice and suitable bags in Jusco as there is quite some choice there but its either too expensive or not syaz's type. Met Li Xing shopping alone there which is weird. Then we went to Creative boutique to have a look at the bags there. On the way, we saw the 1001 Faces of Malaysia art exhibition by S. Amin Shahab. He is an artist, director and producer. He actually drew all the potraits that were exhibited there. Its just like the original person..Hence we took some picture but too bad we didnt see any of our friend's picture there. It would be awesome if we did.Haha...I met Janice and Leonard on our way to Creative boutique. Didn't manage to find anything nice there hence we head to Parkson. We bought a beige bag for her and were glad that she likes it.=)

We met up at Monash University before going to Syah'z place. I was kind of shock that CC came cause I thought she was busy as she has a lot of assignments to hand in and her wrist was inflammed. Typing was a problem to her so didnt expect her to go as she is busy. However she decided to come along to not dissappoint Syaz. So sweet of her. Went in 3 cars, Yumni, Jasmine and me. Before leaving Sunway, drove to the shops near Sunway to buy some deserts. And I dont know what is wrong with my car that the police just shoo me wherever I stop to wait for the rest. It was only me hence had to go round to find somewhere else to stop but in the end just stop at the same place. Luckily the police was not there anymore. Didnt know that they were going to use LDP to go to her place as we went around Sunway again instead of U-turning before Pyramid near the housing area.

Outing before Uni starts again!
Jasmine, Yumni and I went to sing K and watch Harry Potter at Pyramid. We bought tickets before heading to RedBox. Both Yumni and Jasmine sang their hearts out. I didn't sang until that high cause went RedBox gardens last Sunday with family and dad's friend's family already and having slight sore throat. We sang till 3pm before heading for the cinema. A lot of people were queuing and buying tickets that time. Yumni lost in her fight with the cashier as she did not obtained the right change when she bought her popcorn. Then I 'terkicked' her popcorn when she returned to her seat as I did not know she had left it on the floor near me. So her large popcorn seemed just like my regular and she eats popcorn really fast man..The movie was OK and Yumni screamed in the cinema!!Haha it was shocking..lucky not horror movie or she might scream more often..Its ok yumni, I know u want to sing some more..Haha=D
Sepang GoldCoast -->Melaka Jonker Street
It started off with a rainy morning and we met at A&W at 3K. Hoping that Sepang wouldn't rain or it would be a bad day at the beach. Leonard and Khai drove us there. We were kind of lost at first that we drove all the way to KLIA. Hence we had to U-turn back to get to Sepang..LOLZ..XD Reached there around 10.30am and it was drizzling..haih hence we just hang around for while before deciding to go for lunch. On the way out, suddenly out of no where we just thought of going to Melaka for lunch and called Li Jun on the other car. After a few thoughts, we head to Melaka by passing through Port Dickson, luckily I went Port Dickson a few months ago so still have a rough idea on how to go about. Reached Melaka around 1pm and had lunch at the Jonker Street..I've never been there before..What a rakyat Malaysia am I..lolz..The shops were old and it still maintained the old tradition and antique look. I had Nyonya Asam Laksa and cendol with ice kacang..The cendol had too much coconut in it which I dont really like but I have to say that the SS15 cendol is much nicer!!Hehe=)
After walking around the streets, we decided to drop by at Xin Ee's grandma house before heading back to Subang Jaya. I didnt know that she was of Baba Nyonya origin..Her grandma was so sweet and nice and she talks Malay which I dont usually hear from a Chinese person these days d. On the way home, Leonard was speeding as the highway was clear. Hence we reached back at 6.15pm but was stuck due to jam at the Kesas highway which leads to Subang Jaya..It was a fun, enjoyable and unexpected trip. Thanks Janice for inviting me!!! And for the photos too!

Lee Kheng is back from Russia!!!Its been so long since I'd met her. Fui Pin, Lee Kheng and I went for ICE AGE 3 at pyramid last thursday. The show was good and we did a lot of catching up with each other. Her group of friends in Russia is mostly from Malaysia. So many people from Msia actually go Russia to do Medicine. Its like the 2nd home there d for Malaysian after Australia. Her roommate is also from Msia. This time she came back with souvenirs and very little things cause she's gonna buy clothes to bring back to Russia since we are now having sale at the moment. Very smart of her indeed..LOL..Then can stuff all the clothes inside her empty luggage bag. We also went shopping for a dress as she is attending AUSMAT function. Didn't know her sister also doing AUSMAT in sunway but she's opting for chemical engineering unlike us where we did biology in AUSMAT. Went searching for a nice and simple dress for her but somehow either its not suitable for her or no size..Probably should go to Midvalley as there are much more variety there. Met Penny in Nichii after so long..Couldn't recognize her when I first saw her again. Didn't see her since form 4 cause she did not attend Sunday school anymore..I was wondering where did she went that time..Just found out that she had moved so her new house is far from the Assumption and she was Fui Pin's classmate last time. .Such a coincidence..She and her bf are now studying in Sydney and Melbourne University. Hence now its the semester break for them as well. It was a fun day hanging out with FP and LK!!Hope to see her again before she leaves for Russia again! Lets go skating together! Hehe XD
O yea I wanna THANK YONG MEI so much!!!Can't believe she actually came to my house to pass me the birthday present!!!Xie Xie Ni!!Love her so much man..Although it was late but it doesn't matter man as she is 'ikhlas'..I know that she is busy cause I am also busy studying for exams during that time.Your the best la! Saw her cute little nephew which is 3 years old already..So 'ke ai' man! Last time I saw him was when we had steamboat for CNY at yong mei's hse few years ago. Anyway its great to have a friend like her as she is always caring and she'll never forget you!!MUAX!!

Finally exam is over and its time to rest and enjoy the holidays =) Got lots of catching up to do from going to watch movies and out with friends. Havent gone out with them for so long already..But I am free now!!!Lets go out!!Hehe=D Just went to watch TRANSFORMER today..It was awesome man!!It was funny at times as well..Laugh many times while watching it..Wont mind going to watch it again man XD I wanna go watch horror movie..but nobody sure want go one..haiz..not many is interested in horror movie.. T.T Anyways I am tired for today but I enjoyed a lot!!It was fun and had some adrenaline rush while Yumni was tailing Jasmine's car. We were so worried that she would lost her way since she is not familiar with the Midvalley area but we made it..Next time we shall bring u there again yea Yumni.=D Thats all for now! I wanna go sing K too!!!
