Spending Chinese New Year in Koh Lipe (Maldives of Thailand)

Woke up early on the 13th aka Ben's birthday to make sushi for breakfast. Left the house around 4.30am and was shocked to see the jam on the NS expressway. One side of the road is filled with cars and the other quite empty..More people going north than south... Due to the jam, we were late and missed our speed boat. Hence we took the next slot to Koh Lipe..

It is like autumn in Kerian..super hot!

New immigration border (thus very small)

This is where the speed boat drop you off ( Floating jetty) before the long tail boat would send you to your hotel/resort

bed for 2 which could actually fit 3

Ben is happy cause got his fav drink

Some singaporean drink, Sangsom(thai whisky, coke and lime) and forgotten what drink is the other one edi..lolz

Setting up the birthday lantern but eventually failed cause there is a big hole on the lantern

trying to light it back up but it was just too windy

Just awesome lying down star gazing=) so many stars!cant find them in KL..

too happy or drunk?!?! no idea but most lightly drunk cause walk also not straight d

1st stop

wanted to take back some stones as souvenir but after hearing bout this, nah..

2nd stop

Saw angelfish, beautiful sea urchin which my younger bro thought it was wrapped by some cloth

Lunch at Koh Rawi (3rd stop)

Hot sunny day

Plants surrounding each chalet which are made of woods, making it very close to nature

You can actually see the corals near the shore

Glamour a not...lolz ( bought this for Ben's Birthday)

We wanted to stay another night in Koh Lipe, but due to no avail, there were no more rooms available. Most resort were fully booked. Thought of going to stay in Satun, but there was nothing to do there..No beach just jetty only..Blah, on the way, see got anywhere else we can go also ended up with no where to go...

Dropped by to see if we could stay there, but there isn't much thing to do there also unless you go jungle trekking but most of us brought beach attire..so in the end just balik rumah only! haha

7pm++ and the sun is still so bright
